Firefighters battled a structure fire around 3:12 a.m. Sunday.

SAN MATEO, CA — Roads in San Mateo that were closed early Sunday morning to accommodate firefighting efforts have reopened, police said.

Firefighters battled a structure fire around 3:12 a.m., and Norfolk Street and Patricia Avenue were closed between Beacon and Dakota avenues, police said. The roads have since re-opened, according to police.
