In a message to supporters of a memorial fund set up recently to help the family with funeral and burial costs for Erik and Aldo and medical bills for Jesus, Ferrari said this week, "Thank you for your heartfelt support for the Reynaga-Reyes family. Ferrari said a visitation with open coffins is scheduled for this Thursday, on Valentine's Day, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Road in Redwood City.

The following day, on Friday, a Catholic funeral mass and burial will take place beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 3500 Middlefield Road in Menlo Park.

Erik was reportedly a seventh-grader at Selby Lane in Atherton, and Aldo attended Gateway Center school in San Mateo.

Ferrari, who serves as the trustee of the memorial fund, said everyone's contributions so far have helped him see the positive amid such a tragedy.

"May God Bless [the surviving family members] as they recover from their enormous loss; and thank you for giving me a chance to believe in a warmer, more caring, more nurturing world."

Donations for the family are still being collected, both through the Fundly.com site, or by deposits into Wells Fargo account number 2886346168, by e-mail, in person, or through a wire transfer.
