We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Power has been restored to all customers affected by an outage caused by a goose flying into power lines in San Mateo Thursday morning, a PG&amp;E spokeswoman said. The outage was first reported at 4:25 a.m., impacting 1,463 customers living on El Camino Real, East Hillsdale Boulevard and Mclellan Avenue, spokeswoman Jana Morris said. By 5:35 a.m., about 830 affected customers had their power restored. All customers' power was restored by 6:05 a.m., she said.
