How do you know your graduating student nominee?
My Daughter
Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!
My daughter has not taken a straight path to graduate college. School has never come very easily to her, she had to work harder than most to achieve her 3.4GPA. Online learning was not a learning environment that worked for her. She took time off to work at an Eco-Tourism Dude Ranch that helped her realize her passion for environmental sustainability. She is pursuing a job at AmeriCorp to strengthen her community. She’s done all this despite losing her thyroid gland and suffering from a very debilitating illness. She sees her challenges as a reason to help those who need it. She’s a remarkable young lady passionate about helping those whose voices are not being be heard.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
I appreciate her commitment to strengthen her community and her choices of tenacity, bravery and always forward movement. Way to go, Phoebe.
