Man Charged With Attempted Murder At Peninsula Inn

Deputies responded to a report of a physical disturbance at the El Rancho Inn in Millbrae on Wednesday morning.

MILLBRAE, CA — A man in the Peninsula was charged with attempted murder Wednesday on suspicion of a domestic violence incident at the El Rancho Inn in Millbrae.

DeAngelo Dove, 20, was accused of making threatening statements to the female victim with whom he was in a romantic relationship and strangling her until she lost consciousness, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to a report of a physical disturbance at the inn on Wednesday morning.

The victim had visible injuries to her torso, arms, head and neck, in addition to bike marks on her body, the sheriff’s office said. She was rushed to a local hospital.

In addition to attempted murder, Dove was also charged with felony domestic violence, felon in possession of a stun gun and violation of a court order.
