Man Missing Out of San Mateo Found, Dies Receiving Medical Care

A 50-year-old man who was reported missing out of San Mateo early Monday has been found but died while receiving medical treatment, the San Mateo Police Department reported Tuesday evening.

Runfa Wang was last seen in the vicinity of Coyote Point on Monday and was located in South San Francisco early Tuesday morning, San Mateo Police Sgt. Dave Norris said.

He was transported to a hospital due to a medical condition, but died, according to Norris.

Wang's death is not considered suspicious, Norris said.

The San Mateo Police Department expressed its condolences to Wang’s family.
