Man Stabbed In Fight At San Mateo County Restaurant
A knife allegedly used in the fight was found but the suspect was not immediately located.
SAN MATEO CUNTY, CA — A man was stabbed when a fight broke out at a bar and restaurant in San Mateo County early Sunday morning.
The "large fight" at Old Princeton Landing Bar & Grill was reported at about 12:15 a.m., according to a news release from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies responded to the business at 460 Capistrano Road, in the unincorporated community of Princeton-by-the-Sea, and found a 29-year-old person with a stab wound.

The victim was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The stabbing was being investigated as of Sunday afternoon. The Sheriff's Office asked anyone with information to contact the detective leading the investigation at rdeschler@smcgov.org or (650) 363-4881.

The Sheriff's Office said the fight was considered an isolated event and that there was no threat to the community.
