New Chick-fil-A Opens In San Mateo Thursday
100 people will receive free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.

SAN MATEO, CA — Chick-fil-A will open a new restaurant in San Mateo on Thursday, at 3000 Bridgepointe Parkway. The new eatery will be open for dine-in, carry-out and delivery from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The Chick-fil-A menu serves all things chicken including nuggets, sandwiches and chicken on top of salads. Chick-fil-A serves boneless chicken breast with no added fillers. The breaded chicken is pressure cooked in fully-refined peanut oil. Fresh produce is delivered to Chick-fil-A restaurants up to six times a week for the best quality and flavor.

The restaurant offers a rewards plan, the Chick-fil-A One tiered membership program.
Reagan Collier is the local franchise owner and operator. Collier already owns the franchise in Redwood City, at Whipple & 101. This is the 24th Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Bay Area.
Collier has elected to take part in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need. To date, more than 25 million meals have been created from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations from over 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants in the U.S. and Canada.

It's all about creating that positive experience where people can connect over great food," Collier said. "I'm really looking forward to serving more of the Bay Area community. We're not just bringing our delicious meals, we're also bringing that special Chick-fil-A hospitality to our Guests and amazing growth opportunities to our Team Members."
In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has donated $25,000 to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the Bay Area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Chick-fil-A Bridgepointe San Mateo is also recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the San Mateo area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
