Over 100K Attend San Mateo County Fair, Organizers Deem Success
The fair featured performances by the Commodores and Gloria Gaynor, along with activities and exhibits.

SAN MATEO, CA — Over 100,000 people attended the San Mateo County Fair from June 4-12, according to organizers.
The attendance was nearly back to pre-pandemic levels.

“I am so proud of our staff and all their hard work that goes into creating a successful fair,” said Dana Stoehr, CEO of the San Mateo County Event Center & Fair. “Their passion for our community showed and attendees benefited from the many attractions and educational exhibits. This year surpassed all previous years, delivering so much quality content for our fairgoers.”
The fair was modified in 2021 during the pandemic, but fair manager Justin Aquino said this year “felt much more different.”

“There is no place like a county fair where guests can use all their five senses to experience the richness of diversity in San Mateo County,” Aquino said. “Our county fair is a safe place where all are welcome, and it is our entire staff having these values that make it possible.”
