Police Make DUI Arrest In Peninsula

SAN BRUNO, CA — A 32-year-old Daly City resident was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Sunday after their vehicle collided with a parked vehicle, San Bruno police said.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Oakmont Drive and Muirfield Circle in San Bruno. According to a news release, the driver was released to a local sobering facility and there were no injuries.

The San Bruno Police Department said it will be increasing extra patrols as summer approaches. More than 25 percent of all traffic-related deaths are the direct result of alcohol impairment, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
