Off-Ramps Closed On Highway 101 In The Bay Area

Caltrans is scheduling overnight closures for construction.

SAN MATEO, CA — There will be several off-ramps closed in both directions of Highway 101 starting Monday night in San Mateo.

Caltrans has scheduled overnight closures of off-ramps at SR-92 starting at 10 p.m Monday and will be closed every night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. until Thursday morning.

Caltrans crews will be constructing a barrier and foundations for overhead signs.

Detours to avoid off-ramp closures in San Mateo June 2-4. (Caltrans)

Here are some possible detours:

Southbound U.S. 101 to Fashion Island Boulevard:
• Exit at Hillsdale Boulevard and turn left onto Hillsdale Boulevard.
• Proceed to Norfolk Street and turn right.
• Continue to reach Fashion Island Boulevard.

Southbound U.S. 101 to Eastbound or Westbound SR-92:
• Exit at Hillsdale Boulevard and take eastbound Hillsdale Boulevard.
• Take the loop to northbound U.S. 101.
• From northbound U.S. 101, follow signs to Route 92 in the desired direction.
