San Mateo Man Arrested in Belmont for Indecent Exposure

The 30-year-old man was cited and released after an interview with police.

Belmont police arrested a San Mateo man Thursday night after he was allegedly seen masturbating in a parked car.

Police were called to the 100 block of Irene Court Thursday around 8:30 p.m. on a report of a subject seen masturbating in a car, according to Capt. Patrick Halleran.

Officers found the vehicle, a silver 1988 Ford Festiva, unoccupied, but located a suspect, Baldomero Nimajuan, 30, a short time later in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex.

Nimajuan, a San Mateo resident, was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and possession of marijuana, and cited and released after an interview.

Belmont police are checking with other agencies to determine if Nimajuan is connected to any other similar incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to call Belmont police at (650) 595-7400 or the crime tip line at (650) 598-3000.
