San Mateo Woman Faces Manslaughter, DUI Charges After Fatal Crash
The woman was accused of driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol content more than two and a half times the legal limit.
SAN MATEO, CA — A San Mateo woman was charged with gross vehicle manslaughter while intoxicated after a three-car collision Sunday evening ended with a passenger dead.
The woman, 24-year-old Tuuika Salt, was accused of driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol content more than two and a half times the legal limit.
The crash took place near the intersection of E. Santa Inez Avenue and N. Humboldt Street. A passenger in Salt’s car was transported to a local trauma center, but passed away the following day.
