SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A small plane crashed at San Carlos Airport on Tuesday afternoon, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Two people who were on board suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash was not immediately known, but the National Transportation Safety Board was notified and will lead the investigation. The plane crashed upon landing around 11:47 a.m., and sheriff's deputies located wreckage at the northeast section of the airport.
