Victim Of Alleged San Mateo Gang-Related Shooting Dies
Police have made two arrests in connection with the late Friday night shooting.
SAN MATEO, CA — A 22-year-old man died Tuesday night following an allegedly gang-related shooting in San Mateo on Friday, police said.
Nathan Rodriguez, 32, and Karla Rodriguez, 31, have been arrested in connection with the shooting, which was reported late Friday night in the area of Rogell Avenue and North Kingston Street.
Officers had responded to the area and found the 22-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head and a 20-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the buttocks, according to police.

The 22-year-old man was taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and succumbed to his injuries there. His name hasn't been released.
The younger victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.

An investigation over the weekend led detectives to a house in the 1200 block of Monte Diablo Avenue in San Mateo.
Officers interviewed multiple people there and arrested Nathan and Karla Rodriguez around 10:15 a.m. Monday.
