At about 11 p.m., a county dispatcher received a report of fire at a home in the 500 block of Lancaster Street, according to the sheriff's office.

Once all the occupants were safely evacuated, the fire, which appeared to have started in the garage, was quickly extinguished, sheriff's officials said.
The fire was contained to the garage, though the entire residence was damaged by smoke, sheriff's investigators said.
The deputies and residents of the home were taken to hospitals to be treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
