Bertolli Named Board Chair of San Rafael Chamber

The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce recently announced the appointment of several new Officers and Directors.

Laura Bertolli has been named 2013 Board Chair. She follows Richard Kalish, who served as Board Chair in 2012. Bertolli also served as Chair from July-December 2011 while San Rafael Mayor Gary Phillips took a leave of absence in order to focus on his mayoral campaign.

The responsibilities of the Board Chair include working to strengthen the local economy, representing the interest of businesses to government, leading the volunteer Board of Directors as well as being a spokesperson for the Chamber.

Bertolli, a longtime Novato resident, is the Corporate President of Bertolli's Auto Body Repair Inc. Her community service includes various community boards and organizations such as Rotary, Bank of Marin advisory, San Rafael Pacifics advisory, Rock for Good foundation, PTA, and the Marin Catholic Interact Club.
