Embarcadero One-Way Study In City Of San Rafael

Embarcadero Way from Marina Court Drive to Sea View Avenue is narrow with a steep drop and does not accommodate two-way traffic very well. There also is no room to pull over to allow another vehicle to pass. In collaboration with the County, the City is collecting volumes on all streets that meet at the Embarcadero-Mission-Sea View-Marina intersection. The City is considering making Embarcadero from Marina Court to Sea View one-way eastbound (inbound to the neighborhood) and having all vehicles leave the neighborhood via Mission Avenue. Targeted outreach will be done as this project moves forward.
