Fatal Marin Freeway Crash Victim ID’d

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Authorities have identified the victim of Thursday morning’s fatal solo-vehicle freeway crash as Peter Andrew Frizzell, 33 of Sausalito, the Marin coroner’s office said.

Frizzell was riding his motorcycle on northbound on Highway 101 just south of the Robin Williams Tunnel and lost control for unknown reasons, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash was reported before 7 a.m., CHP officer Darrel Horner told Patch.

Three lanes of traffic were closed shortly afterward and remained closed for several hours as the CHP investigators were on the scene, Horner said.
