“The festival will be an immersive experience, featuring live music, hands-on activities, awards and entertainment, and lots of great food, inviting all Marin residents to explore ways to keep fire safe,” festival organizers said.

The festival will feature “Demo House” and Demo Garden,” areas that will showcase home hardening features and materials and educate the public about the principles and elements of a fire-smart landscape.

The Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority (MWPA) and other fire agencies along with fire preparedness and prevention organizations will share an area to answer questions.

The event is presented by Fire Safe Marin, a nonprofit that promotes fire safety.

Admission to this event is free.
