Injured Cyclist Airlifted From Marin Coastal Trail

MARIN COUNTY, CA — An injured mountain biker was airlifted to safety Sunday afternoon from a Coastal Marin trail, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The woman was taken to Marin General Hospital with minor injuries, the CHP’s Golden Gate Division Air Operations wrote on its Facebook page.

A CHP H-30 helicopter was used to assist Marin County Fire Department and California State Parks in the rescue, the agency said.

“H-30 arrived overhead and located the patient on the Coastal Trail,” the CHP said.

“Fortunately the patients injuries were minor and she was transported by Southern Marin Fire Ambulance to a Marin General Hospital.”
