Marin Activates Emergency Shelter Amid Cold Snap
Marin's emergency shelter is activated when temperatures are forecast to dip below 38 degrees for a minimum of three days, the county said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Marin County is activating its Severe Weather Emergency Shelter for people experiencing homelessness in the wake of cold weather predictions
The heated shelter will be open for three nights, from Wednesday evening through Saturday morning, 5 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Individuals are encouraged to sign in by 8 p.m.

The shelter is located at the Marin Health and Wellness Campus, 3240 Kerner Blvd, San Rafael, and is sponsored by the county and Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco.
