Marin Burglary Suspect Arrested
The Dec. 17 burglaries were reported hours apart. Surveillance video led to 41-year-old Nathan Heese's arrest, police said.
NOVATO, CA — A Novato burglary suspect was arrested last month in connection with two incidents that occurred hours apart, police said.
Nathan Heese, 41 of Novato, was arrested Dec. 22 on suspicion of burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card (two counts on each charge) and was booked at Marin County Jail, the Novato Police Department said.
Heese was arrested in connection with two Dec. 17 burglaries, one reported at around 5 p.m. that day and the other reported at approximately 9 p.m., police said.

The first burglary occurred on Rowe Ranch Court and the second in the 200 block of Alameda Del Prado, police said.
A review of surveillance video from the Rowe Ranch Court burglary led officers and two local businesses showed the suspect using credit cards associated with the burglary, police said.

Police posted a photo of the suspect that they say led to Heese’s arrest.
“We immediately began receiving tips about the identity of the subject from our community members,” Capt. Sasha D’Amico said.
“Additionally, off-duty Novato Police officers recognized the suspect from prior incidents.”
During a Dec. 23 search of Heese’s Novato residence officers located found several items associated with the Alameda Del Prado burglary, police said.
