Marin Camera Shop Robbed At Gunpoint: Cops
Four suspects were arrested after leading authorities on a brief pursuit, the Marin County Sheriff's Office said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Four suspects accused of robbing a Mill Valley camera shop at gunpoint Tuesday were arrested after leading authorities on a brief pursuit, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said.
Matthew Dorsey and Willetta Fleming, both 21 of Richmond, Kavante Andry, 28 of Santa Clara and a 17-year-old whose name was withheld were arrested and booked into Marin County Jail, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Dorsey was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges including robbery, assault with a firearm and being a felon or addict in possession of a firearm, and Andry was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime, according to the county’s inmate locator website.

There were no reports of injuries.
Deputies shortly after 4 p.m. received a report of an armed robbery at Mike's Camera Mill Valley, located at the Strawberry Village Shopping Center in unincorporated Strawberry, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The witness told dispatchers that the store was just robbed at gunpoint by suspects who fled in blue sedan, the Sheriff’s Office said.
A Mill Valley Police officer who was in the area located the suspect vehicle as it was leaving the scene and attempted to stop the vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The suspects tried to run away when their vehicle crashed near the Arco Gas Station at 798 Redwood Highway Frontage Road in Mill Valley but were eventually located and detained, the Sheriff’s Office said.
In addition to the stolen camera equipment, two firearms were found in the vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The Mill Valley, Tiburon, and Novato police departments (including a Novato police K9) and the California Highway Patrol responded to the robbery, the Sheriff’s Office said.
