Marin Co. Survey Seeks Input On Highway 101 Interchanges
The study on the interchanges is funded through Measure AA, a half-cent sales tax approved by voters in 2018.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Transportation Authority of Marin is asking people to fill out a survey on U.S. Highway 101 interchanges to help identify and prioritize projects to improve safety and efficiency.
TAM officials have identified 12 interchanges for Highway 101 in Marin County in need of improvement, saying many were built in the 1950s and 1960s and have not been altered in meaningful ways since then.
The 12 identified are Alexander Avenue/Vista Point, Donahue Street/North Bridge Road/Bridgeway, East Blithedale Avenue/Tiburon Boulevard, Tamalpais Drive/Paradise Drive, Sir Francis Drake Boulevard/Fifer Avenue/Industrial Way, Second Street/Hetherton Street, North San Pedro Road/Merrydale Road, Manuel T. Freitas Parkway/Civic Center Drive, Lucas Valley Road/Smith Ranch Road, Alameda Del Prado/Nave Drive, Ignacio Boulevard/Bel Marin Keys/Nave Drive, and San Marin Drive/Atherton Avenue.
