Marin Could See A Half Foot Of Rain In Weekend Storm: NWS
High winds and slick roadways are expected throughout the Bay Area, and minor flooding is possible, the NWS said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — A storm bearing down on the Bay Area could dump up to six inches of rain in on parts of Marin, the National Weather Service said.
The storm, which meteorologists are calling a weak “atmospheric river,” is expected to make landfall in parts of the Bay Area Saturday night and linger through Monday, the NWS said.

Most of the Bay Area is expected to get around 1 ½ to three inches of rain and a dusting of snow may be seen at higher elevations such as Mount Tamalpais, according to the NWS.
