Marin County Company To Cut 1,150 Jobs
San Rafael-based company Autodesk said it will cut its workforce by 13 percent.

MARIN COUNTY, CA -- Marin County-based company Autodesk announced this week it will cut its workforce by 13 percent. The company, which produces 3-D-imaging software that's used across various industries, said roughly 1,150 employees will be laid off.
The company said it's working to restructure and "streamline the organization," according to Fortune magazine.
The San Rafael company "said the job cuts would cost it $135 million to $149 million," according to the magazine.
