MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Marin DUI offender check found four people non-compliant with court-ordered terms, county officials said.
The Marin County Probation Department coordinated a sweep of 39 DUI offenders' residences on Thursday, officials said.
Thirty-five of 39 contacts were found to be compliant, and the four in violation will be scheduled to appear before the court to determine possible jail sanctions.

The operation’s goal is limiting alcohol-related incidents, an ongoing priority amid an increase in alcohol consumption in Marin in recent years, Probation Chief Marlon Washington said in a statement.
"Due to the previous success of these coordinated sweeps, the department expanded the scope of the operation to include more potential at-risk offenders," Washington said. “In-person compliance checks are paramount to continued community safety.”
