Marin Hit-And-Run Leaves Woman Hospitalized
Authorities are seeking the public's help locating the suspect in a crash that left a 19-year-old woman hospitalized.
NOVATO, CA — Authorities are seeking the public’s help investing a Novato hit-and-run crash Sunday that left a woman hospitalized, authorities said.
Officers at around 3 p.m. responded to Main Gate Road on the report of an injured woman lying on the sidewalk, the Novato Police Department said.
Responding officers and Novato Fire Department personnel located the woman east of the parking lot entrance to the Hamilton Smart Train Station, police said.

Officers determined the woman had been walking when she was struck by the driver of a vehicle who fled the scene, police said.
The 19-year-old female victim suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital, police said.

Investigators obtained photos of the suspect vehicle from surveillance footage, police said.
The vehicle is described as a silver four-door sedan with damage to the passenger side mirror, police said.
The vehicle at the time of the collision (just before 3 p.m.) was traveling west on Main Gate Road toward Nave Drive, police said.
The Novato Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the driver of the vehicle involved in this collision.
