"Following our investigation, it was determined the suspects had stolen a significant amount of alcohol from Safeway," the MVPD said in a statement.
Officers located the suspects in the Mill Valley dog park, police said.
The shoplifting case was referred to Marin’s District Attorney’s office for review, police said.
“Thank you to the numerous alert citizens who reported information related to this vehicle to our officers,” the MVPD said.
