Mill Valley Readies For Comedy Festival

MILL VALLEY, CA — Mill Valley is readying to hold another festival.

This year’s annual “Comedy in the Plaza” will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Depot Plaza.

Langan is an internationally acclaimed standup comedian who has performed at festivals in the U.S., Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Switzerland and South Africa.

Maye made her late-night debut on Conan and was featured on Last Call with Carson Daly. In addition to being part of the writing team for Netflix’s History of Swear Words she was seen on Seeso’s Take My Wife, performed on Quibi’s Comedy Swap and has written for the New Yorker.

Karam found her comedy career footing while attending Arizona State University performing in an improv group and regularly turning up on open mic nights.

“Comedy in the Plaza” will be Mill Valley’s second festival in less than five weeks. Mill Valley hosted an inaugural music festival May 7.

The Marin city is also home to the renowned Mill Valley Film Festival.

Admission to “Comedy in the Plaza” is free.

The event is presented by Mill Valley Recreation.
