Marin Readies For Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Lane Closure
Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time, Caltrans said.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A lane of traffic will be closed early Thursday morning on a Marin freeway.
The far-left traffic lane on the westbound I-580 Richmond San Rafael Bridge will be closed Thursday from 12:01 to 5 a.m, Caltrans said.
At least one traffic lane on westbound I-580 on the bridge will remain open at all times.

The lane closure is required for Caltrans to perform scheduled maintenance and inspections, the agency said.

"Please drive with caution through the construction zone," Caltrans said.
