Marin Rollover Crash Injures 3: CHP
The crash was reported Saturday at around noon on Point Reyes-Petaluma Road, west of Nicasio Valley Road, according to the CHP.

MARIN COUNTY, CA –A West Marin rollover crash on Saturday involving two vehicles left three people with injuries requiring hospitalization, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported at around noon on Point Reyes-Petaluma Road, west of Nicasio Valley Road, according to the CHP.
The driver of a Chevrolet Corvette was traveling west on Point Reyes-Petaluma Road and tried to pass three vehicles at once at a high rate of speed when they crashed into a Toyota pickup truck making a left turn into a dirt parking area, the CHP said.

“The driver of the Chevrolet failed to see the Toyota turning left,” the CHP said.

“The front of the Chevrolet collided into the left side of the Toyota, causing the Toyota to overturn.”
The three occupants of the Toyota were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries, the CHP said. The Corvette driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this collision, according to the CHP.
The driver of the Chevrolet will be issued a citation for the unsafe driving maneuver, the CHP said.
CHP-Marin Area officers, along with CHP - Golden Gate Division Air Operations, the Marin County Sheriff's Office , and Marin County Fire Department responded to the scene.
