Marin Suspect Accused Of Biting Cop: Report

NOVATO, CA — A Marin man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a bar fight in which he’s accused of biting a Novato police officer, The Marin Independent Journal reports.

Brian Krout, 61 of Novato, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, battery on a police officer and resisting arrest, the report said.

Officers at around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday to the report of an altercation in the 7300 block of Redwood Avenue, according to the report.

Krout bit the officer’s arm during the altercation, the report said.
