Marin Transit Bus Overturns
Andersen Drive reopened as of 12:30 p.m., according to the San Rafael Police Department.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — A Marin County transit bus overturned late Thursday morning, authorities said.
The lone occupant of the bus was the driver, who extricated from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, the Central Marin Fire Department said on its Facebook page.
The bus crashed into a hillside and overturned near the intersection of Andersen Drive and Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Marin County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Brenton Schneider said.

No additional information was immediately available.
The San Rafael, and Kentfield fire departments assisted Central Marin.
“Luckily only one person, the bus driver, was on the bus but unable to get out. The patient was extricated by Engine 16 and Truck 17 and was transported to a local emergency room with minor injuries,” the Central Marin Fire Department said.
“As another large storm approaches that could bring up to 6 inches of rain by New Years Day, please drive with extra caution and stay indoors if travel in non essential.”
