Public Safety Center Opens In Marin County Town

An open house will commemorate the new public safety center that will house firefighters, police officers, paramedics and dispatchers.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Police and firefighters will perform live demonstrations at an open house Oct. 11 at the new public safety center in San Rafael.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 11, the San Rafael Police and Fire Departments will host an open house at the public safety center located at 1375 Fifth Ave.

The public safety center houses public safety services, including our firefighters, police officers, paramedics and dispatchers.

"Please bring your family and friends, as this will be an excellent opportunity to meet the first responders who protect our great community and tour the facility from which they respond and work. We are excited to see you," police said.

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
