MARIN COUNTY, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help investigating reports of a man offering rides to children after school in San Anselmo, the Central Marin Police Authority said.

“We have recently been made aware that there are multiple social media posts regarding a suspicious white van and its driver offering children rides after school in and around the Town of San Anselmo,” the agency said Monday morning in an alert to residents.

“We are actively trying to identify the van and its driver to determine if there is any merit to these allegations.”
The driver is described as a bald white male and the suspect vehicle was described as a white van, authorities said.
