The Cannabis Industry Tax Oversight Committee monitors Measure G revenues and expenditures and conducts an annual report process.

Measure G funding supports the cannabis oversight program and enhancement of police and fire services among other services.

The committee assignment runs through the end of February 2024.

The committee has no say in budgetary decisions and does not have authority over city staff or officials.

Meetings are held once annually, typically in December or January.

Committee members are required to be San Rafael residents who are at least 18 years of age.

City employees and officials, along with vendors, contractors or consultants doing business with the city are ineligible.
