San Rafael Juvenile Arrested In Connection With Stabbing
The 17-year-old San Rafael male was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — A juvenile was arrested Thursday morning in connection with a stabbing attack at a San Rafael party over the weekend, police said.
The 17-year-old San Rafael male was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon according to police.
The victim was hospitalized with multiple wounds, police said. He suffered a 5-inch laceration in his neck and two lacerations on the back of his left arm.

Officers at around 9:50 p.m. on Saturday responded to a report of a stabbing in a residence on the 300 block of Prospect Avenue.
The victim was placed in a vehicle and driven away from the residence but flagged down the responding officers at Lincoln Avenue and Laurel Place, police said.

Officers rendered first aid to the victim who they found holding a t-shirt around his neck to stop the bleeding, police said.
The victim was alert and conscious and told officers he’d been at the party for just a few minutes when a fight broke out but didn’t know the motivation for the attack according to police.
San Rafael firefighters arrived on the scene and provided aid before transporting him to a local hospital.
Investigators obtained search warrant for a residence in the 100 block of Prospect Avenue to locate physical evidence and video according to police.
Detectives arrested the suspect after locating him Thursday at around 8:30 a.m. in the area of Mission and Tamalpais avenues according to police.
