$100K In Art Grants Open For Applications For Artists And Organizations In Marin County

There are grants worth $5,000 and $10,000 available through an artist grant program now in its second year.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Marin Cultural Association has announced the launch of its 2026 Arts Grants cycle Monday, making $100,000 available to support Marin County's vibrant arts ecosystem.

"Artists and arts organizations are critical to strengthening creativity and connection in Marin," said MCA Managing Director Tracy Bays-Boothe. "MCA is proud to continue this investment in the arts and in our community."

Continuing into its second year, the MCA Arts Grants program is broadening opportunities for Marin's creative community, offering support to both individual artists and diverse arts and cultural organizations.

Marin County artists and studio collectives can apply for grants up to $5,000. Marin arts-based nonprofits and fiscally sponsored organizations presenting arts programs are eligible for grants up to $10,000.

The first MCA Arts Grants cycle in 2025 provided support to 30 artists and arts organizations across Marin County.

"I am deeply grateful to the Marin Cultural Association for recognizing the value of cultural memory and creative expression rooted in migration, identity and acculturation," said Laura Jimenez Diecks, of ARTe+ViDA Studio and a 2025 grant recipient. "With MCA's support, I will create new work that not only reflects my story but also uplifts the diverse narratives of our immigrant communities."

Applications for the 2026 grant cycle opened Monday with submissions accepted through February 27.

Grant awards will be announced June 1.
