San Rafael Pledges $2.5M To Fund Affordable Housing

Applicants have until Dec. 23 to apply for the program, which is paid for by the San Rafael Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — The city of San Rafael is putting up $2.5 million to back its stated goal of boosting its affordable rental housing supply.

Applicants have until Dec. 23 to apply for the program, which is paid for by the San Rafael Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

The trust fund uses money collected from fees from developers. No general fund money will be used for the project.

Responses must be submitted by email to Jacob.Noonan@cityofsanrafael.org no later than 5:00 pm on December 23, 2021.

All documents included in the response must be in pdf file format. Applicants may upload pdf responses to a drop box and email an access link.
