San Rafael Police Arrest Man With Stolen, Loaded Handgun
Police said officers initially pulled over the vehicle for having stolen license plates.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — San Rafael police arrested a man early Sunday morning for having a loaded, stolen handgun with a high-capacity magazine.
Police initially stopped the vehicle in the area of Third and A streets for allegedly having a stolen license plate. During the stop, officers found the stolen pistol with a high-capacity magazine in the passenger compartment.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen firearm.
