San Rafael Readies For Annual Boat Parade
The annual holiday event will be held Dec. 12 at 6 p.m.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — The city of San Rafael is readying for an annual holiday event that’s in its seventh decade.
The San Rafael 2021 Canal Lighted Boat Parade will be held Dec. 12 at 6 p.m.
Decorated boats will parade from the east end of the canal (near Pickleweed Park and the Marin Yacht Club) to the turning basis behind Montecito Shopping Center, and then back.

The Marin tradition has been held since 1966.
The parade can be seen from Montecito Shopping Center (behind the mall on Third Street), Point Pedro Road and Third Street, Yacht Club Drive and the Community Center at Pickleweed Park (50 Canal St.).
