SAN RAFAEL, CA — A part of Prospect Drive will be closed next week as crews work on a sewer project, the San Rafael Sanitation District said in a news release.

Prospect between Grand and Vineyard avenues will be closed from Monday through Friday. Barring unanticipated weather conditions, crews will be working in the area from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those days, according to the announcement.

The Woodland Avenue Sewer Improvement Project will involve trenching and working in the public right-of-way to replace a damaged section of the main sewer, replacing the existing sewer main with a new main for the entire block, and replacing existing sewer service laterals and cleanouts.
