SAN RAFAEL, CA — The city of San Rafael is holiday shoppers to think outside the box.
It has launched a campaign in partnership with Zero Waste Marin promoting gifts that can be experienced as opposed to the ones that come in boxes that before long will end up in the landfill.

The city if encouraging residents to buy their friends and loved ones gifts that can be experienced such as tickets to sporting events, gym memberships and park passes.
