Semiautomatic Pistol Seized In Arrest Of Suspected San Rafael Taggers

SAN RAFAEL, CA — A semiautomatic firearm was seized earlier this week during an arrest of suspected taggers, San Rafael police said.

Officers responding to a report of loiterers tagging a building with spray paint found a semiautomatic pistol and a 33-round high-capacity magazine, police said.

The suspects were booked into Marin County Jail, police said.

“The suspects were detained with fresh spray paint on their fingertips and a search of the area was conducted,” the agency wrote on its Facebook page.
