Sexual Assault Suspect Arrested In Marin On $850K Warrant

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Marin County Sheriff’s Office detectives last week arrested a Peninsula sexual assault suspect on an outstanding $850,000 warrant according to the Redwood City Police Department.

Jaasiel Nunezcruz, 56, was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a juvenile victim who was known to him according to police. He was booked into Marin County Jail.

Marin detectives arrested Nunezcruz during a traffic stop after he was seen entering his vehicle and leaving his residence, police said.

The assaults against the victim started in November 2018, police said.
