Striking Golden Eye Makes Appearance At The Marina: Photo Of The Day
Catch a glimpse of this beautiful bird before it continues its migration.
SAN RAFAEL, CA — Jeanne Johnson photographed this beautiful Golden Eye at Loch Lomond Marina in Marin County. She wanted to share her photo immediately because these ducks migrate, and she wanted to give others a chance to catch a glimpse before they’re gone. "I find these ducks just adorable."
Jean saw the Golden Eye during an Audubon Marin Walk led by an informative marine biologist.
