Suspect Accused Of Touching Children In San Rafael Theater: Report

Movie theater employees who reported a May incident involving the suspect were advised to call police if he ever returned.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — A North Bay man was arrested earlier this month in connection with two incidents at a Marin movie theater in which he’s accused of touching children with his bare feet, The Marin Independent Journal reports.

Thomas Dean Erickson, 65 of Napa, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor molestation and sexual battery charges in connection with both incidents, the report said. He was arrested and booked into jail Oct. 14 on suspicion annoying or molesting a child, according to the report.

Officers on Oct. 14 responded to the Century Northgate in Terra Linda on the report that an employee recognized him from an incident in May, the report said.
