Uptick In Marin Burglaries Triggers Advisory
Authorities are urging residents to take measures that could prevent them from becoming the next victim.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Central Marin is experiencing a spate of burglaries, and authorities are urging residents to take measures that could prevent them from becoming the next victims.
Some patterns have emerged during an uptick in Marin residential burglaries, the Central Marin Police Authority said.
The crimes are most often occurring during late afternoon and early evening hours, and the thieves are making forced entries by breaking into the rear of residences, according to police.

“Being a tight knit community and neighborhood that looks out for one another, is the best way to prevent and deter crime. Please never hesitate to call the Central Marin Police to report any suspicious behavior. We are committed to your safety and well-being.”
